Each of our partner countries will showcase a special beatboxing freestyle slot that highlights their unique origins and musical roots. These performance will be part of a larger group showcase of numerous nations. We anticipate that each country will bring their best upcoming talents to the Beat Box Expo stage.
This contest is open for anyone who can imitate sound effects or create outstanding audio tunes with their mouth. The contest will take place in a cypher circle format and we anticipate a legendary sound clash featuring unique and realistic tunes. This promises to be an unforgettable experience for both participating artists and the audience.
This curated mouth music concert is featuring beatboxing musicians with a creative vision for musical performances. Accredited vocal percussion projects from around the world will showcase their unique performances, featuring a blend of acoustic instruments and electronic sound devices. This promises to be a one of a kind concert experience.
After a 5 year hiatus from the world championship festival, the opening ceremony will be an emotional kick off for all the attending artists, production crew and spectators from all over the globe. Since the Covid-19 pandemic has been overcome, everybody in the community will be hyped for the tournament start.
We anticipate the participation of some of the world's top female human beatboxing artists, who will showcase their best performances and spread positive vibes on stage. The following tournament day will determine which women will qualify for the top 16 battle rounds. The spectators can expect pure fire in this elimination rounds.
Over 100 beatboxing champions from +45 different countries have directly qualified since September 2018 for this massive elimination round. The variety of vocal beats from the participating countries will be a new milestone in the festival's legacy and a historical moment for all present guests. The top 32 competitor will enter the battle rounds.
This category is a brand new addition to the world championship category roster. The 20 wildcard video winners will showcase their talent and rock the microphones with eye-catching performances. These talented musicians will demonstrate their ability to produce serious human turntable remixes and compete for a spot in the quarterfinals.
The tag-team battle is a type of competition category where two beatboxers collaborate as a duo to showcase their skills. They often perform coordinated routines and seamlessly transition between solo segments, resulting in a more cohesive and polished performance. The best 4 couples of the elimination round qualify for the semi-finals on the next day.
The top 32 participants with the highest placement will compete in face-to-face battle rounds. Each qualified competitor will battle it out in 2 rounds of 90 seconds each, using the question and answer principle, to advance to the best 16 round on the same stage several hours later. It will be exciting to see how creative they get during the battles.
The top 8 vocal scratching artists faced off in a battle format, where each participant had 2 x 90 seconds each, with a question and answer principle applied. The performers showcased their skills as human music boxes, with a focus on showmanship and remixing or covering songs while maintaining musicality.
The qualified female and male solo artists competing in two separate contest categories. The performers will take turns appearing on stage using the zip principle, where one category follows immediately after the other. The event will follow the sequence of women battle, men battle, women battle, men battle, and so on, with each round providing a captivating and intense tournament.
The best beatboxing crews and a cappella bands performing a pre-rehearsed vocal music set for 240 seconds each. The performances will include diverse choreographies and show elements, making for an exciting and captivating showcase. Only the top 2 crews will qualify for the title match. This slot promises to be a spectacular display of vocal talent and creativity.
The qualified male and female solo artists competing in the quarterfinals again in two separate contest categories. The competitors will take turns appearing on stage using the zip principle, where one category follows immediately after the other, following the sequence of men battle, women battle, men battle, women battle, and so on.
The 4 tag-teams with the highest judging result will compete in a classic face to face battle in the semi-finals. The competition will be fierce with each artist showcasing their skills in hopes of advancing to the grand final. In the final round the 2 winners will go head to head for the world title, providing a thrilling and captivating battle for the audience.
The top 4 vocal scratcher will battle it out in 2 rounds of 90 seconds each to become a finalist in the world's first contest of its kind. Both winning artists of the semi-finals will face off in a head to head battle for the championship title, showcasing their potential as a living music box imitator. This event promises to be a thrilling showcase of talent, providing a captivating experience for all attendees.
In the crew showcase finale, the 2 groups with the highest jury rating will battle it out in a head to head competition, each performing for 240 seconds. The event promises to be a mega spectacle as the 2 groups face each other on stage in a final soundclash, showcasing their full potential to win the ultimate title and become the world champion crew of 2023.
The top 4 female and top 4 male solo artists will be competing in separate divided categories in the semi-finals using the zip principle again. The best 2 performers from each category advance to the final battle round were they compete in a last match for the women's and the men's world championship title.
During the prize giving ceremony at the end of the fourth festival day, all first-placed and all second-placed competitors will be officially recognized and honored. The winner ceremony will conclude with a memorable freestyle jam session on stage, which will include the new champions as well as the international jury committee members.
In the elimination round of the loop station category, world-renowned looping artists and several country champions will participate. All competitors will perform a 240 second music set produced exclusively with a their organic sounds and the loop station. During their performance, the artists will record their own vocal percussion sounds and arrange them into a live music track.
In the quarterfinals, the top 8 beatboxing looping performers will demonstrate their music producer potential. Each competitor must showcase their very best performance in a face to face battle format, with 2 sets of 240 seconds each. Only the best 4 live looping performers will advance to the semi-final round and stay in the tournament.
In the semi-finals, the 4 most talented vocal looping artists will once again compete against each other to secure one of the two coveted slots in the final sound clash. Each participant will showcase a further improvement of their musicality and producing skills in order to fight for the world champion titles in the final showdown.
As part of the 20th anniversary of Beatbox Battle Networks, numerous iconic artists and prominent figures from the global human beatbox community will be honored with the maximum respect award. This ceremony celebrates the social commitment of outstanding individuals in the international beatboxing movement and their culturally valuable activities.
