The tag-team battle is a type of competition category where two beatboxers collaborate as a duo to showcase their skills. They often perform coordinated routines and seamlessly transition between solo segments, resulting in a more cohesive and polished performance. The best 4 couples of the elimination round qualify for the semi-finals on the next day.
The top 32 participants with the highest placement will compete in face-to-face battle rounds. Each qualified competitor will battle it out in 2 rounds of 90 seconds each, using the question and answer principle, to advance to the best 16 round on the same stage several hours later. It will be exciting to see how creative they get during the battles.
The top 8 vocal scratching artists faced off in a battle format, where each participant had 2 x 90 seconds each, with a question and answer principle applied. The performers showcased their skills as human music boxes, with a focus on showmanship and remixing or covering songs while maintaining musicality.
The qualified female and male solo artists competing in two separate contest categories. The performers will take turns appearing on stage using the zip principle, where one category follows immediately after the other. The event will follow the sequence of women battle, men battle, women battle, men battle, and so on, with each round providing a captivating and intense tournament.
